Sprayed concrete (gunite) or handpacked concrete swimming pools are still the most installed type pool in South Africa, but following trends in Australia, Europe and the USA we expect that modular swimming pools will become more common in years to come.
Modular swimming pools are available from baby pools (2m x 3m) to quarter olympic size (12.5m x 25m).

The construction method for modular swimming pools is simple and low skilled labour could easily be employed to assemble any shape and size pools. The consistent quality of the final product will be admired by previous pool owners. The product consist of:
- Pre-manufactured pool walls; and
- A single layer nylex lining which a surface smoothness similar to that of fibreglass.

Blue pool lighting positioned at the right places in your swimming pool will ensure a awesome view at night which your friends will envy.

Standard square steps; a stainless steel ladder or half round step as shown in the photos above are available to add to any shape pool.
Major Benefits of modular pools:
- Modular design allows swimming pools in any size or shape to be installed in areas where access are limited.
- The strength and flexibility of the shell make it possible that modular pools can be installed in the most difficult soil conditions such as sand and clay soil.
- Easy pool cleaning due to the smooth Nylex pool surface.
Major disadvantages of modular pools:
- Limit colour range. Nylex is currently only available in poolblue or black.
- Inclusion of long shallow steps ("martini seat") is not possible due to design constraints.
